The information that you provide on this form will be used by Clare Sims Beauty Services to provide you with the most suitable beauty services agreed with you. In providing these services to you, you consent to your personal data being included on our database.
Clare Sims Beauty Services is committed to adherence with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) - a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU). Under GDPR privacy policy regulations, we have a legal right to process your information.
This includes, but is not restricted to: separate consent being sought for separate beauty services provided, and deletion of your records if you request. Our data retention period is unlimited but you can request removal at any time.
Under the terms of GDPR we confirm –
1. Every time your data is used for a different beauty service, we will request your explicit consent for that use. Explicit consent means that you will be clearly presented with an option to agree or disagree with the collection, and use, of your personal information. Implied consent is not enough as personal data cannot now be used on that basis.
2. You can object to the retaining of your data, and you can request your personal data be deleted when it's no longer required at any point. You can request to be forgotten or removed at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle data.
We maintain a client Record Card for each client. These are updated at every visit and service provided. These are manual cards that are retained in a secure location. You are welcome to view your own Record Card at any time.
